The manual was exactly what I wanted and I found it nowhere else. Thanks!
 HD-600 KENWOOD Owner's Manual by John Copeland;
Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much... But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings. I am very grateful to for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too! Top marks. John Copeland Glasgow Scotland

Connecting Your Subwoofer to Your Amplifier JBL GTO Series
JBL GTO Series subwoofers are available in two different conï¬gurations: as a single 2-ohm voice coil or as dual 2-ohm voice coils. Depending on the ampliï¬ers you are using, you may use either single-voice coil or dual-voice coil subwoofers in singles or multiples to maximize the power available from your ampliï¬ers. To achieve the maximum ampliï¬er output possible, you should design a speaker system that provides the lowest impedance that your ampliï¬er is rated to drive safely. When designing a subwoofer system, consider the following rules: 1. Donât mix different subwoofer or enclosure types in the same system (use all single-coil woofers or all dual-coil woofers). 2. You may connect the coils of a dual-voice coil woofer in series, but we recommend that you avoid connecting separate woofers in series. The ampliï¬erdamping factor (the ampliï¬erâs ability to control the motion of the woofer) is expressed as a ratio of terminal impedance (the sum of speaker impedance, wire resistance and the D.C. resistance of any crossover coil connected to the woofer) to ampliï¬er-output impedance. Therefore, connecting separate woofers in series reduces the damping factor of the ampliï¬er to a value less than 1. This will result in poor transient response. 3. You must use both coils of a dual-voice coil woofer connected either in series or in parallel. 4. Most ampliï¬ers deliver exactly the same amount of power bridged into a 4-ohm load as they do running a 2-ohm stereo load. To design a subwoofer system that maximizes available ampliï¬er power, keep the following rules in mind: 1. The total system impedance of woofers in parallel can be calculated using the formula: Impedance = 1 1 + 1 + 1 ... w w w

where w is the nominal impedance of the woofer. 2. The total system impedance of voice coils (or woofers) in series can be calculated using the formula: Impedance = w1 + w2 + w3 . . . The diagrams at right show parallel and series speaker connections.
